to a well-known Ubisoft leaker.
Thank you in advance to Comicbook's Cade Onder (per @fraxiswinning on Twitter) for the original source!
A Rainbow Six Siege sequel, or something that sounds like a sequel anyway, is set to be revealed at a Rainbow Six eSports event, named the "Six Invitational 2025", sometime between February 14. and February 16.

“Siege X info… Currently planned (and on track) to be revealed at SI 2025. A likely release window is Y10S2,” @fraxiswinning revealed.
“It will include an engine overhaul and a graphical upgrade in textures and models. Possible that all old events will never come back in Siege X. Only new ones.”
Now I'm not familiar with fraxiswinning myself, but they’re apparently been on the money about other leaks previously. According to Comicbook, they have “correctly leaked stuff in the past both with Rainbow Six and Assassin’s Creed” so it sounds like the they’re a reliable source.
Also, there’s one element of the leak I’m not entirely sure about. Is “Siege X” a new game, or some kind of expansion for the current Rainbow Six Siege?
Advert
When fraxiswinning refers to “Y10S2”, they’re actually referring to the tenth year of support that Rainbow Six Siege has yet to receive (with the last update for the game being back in June 2024 with the second season of it's Year Nine support Operation New Blood).
To me that sort of implies that perhaps Rainbow Six Siege X will be some kind of re-release of the game instead, but it’s impossible to tell exactly at this point in time.
On the plus side, at least we won’t have to wait long to find out, as the Six Invitational 2025 begins in less than two weeks time.
