Are you a fan of Pokémon and free stuff? Well then, happy late Christmas because I have some free Pokémon stuff for ya.
Well, not me personally, but rather The Pokémon Company, who are giving away a free physical gift for their fans - but, of course, there’s a catch (that’s not a “catch ‘em all” pun, there’s a legit catch).

So, if you’re signed up for the Pokémon Center mailing list, you might have gotten an email recently asking you to update your marketing preferences.

I know that doesn’t sound juicy, which is probably why a lot of people have outright ignored said email.
However, if you did receive said email, then you’d be the brand new owner of a free “Sitting Cuties” Pokémon plushie.
Sitting Cuties Pokémon plushies are exactly what they sound like. Little stuffed Pokémon that are sat down, ranging from Eevees to Klefkis.
Just a quick aside but, is Klefki anyone’s favourite Pokémon? Like surely that thing cannot be selling well.
Well, one of them can be yours for the low cost of free… provided you’re already signed up for a Pokémon Center account.
That is unfortunately the catch. You can’t sign up to the Pokémon Center mailing list now and simply get one for free, you had to have already been signed up and then re-signed up to claim one of the Sitting Cuties plushies.
On the plus side, if you are signed up already, there doesn’t seem to be any kind of limitation on which plushie you can claim. As long as it’s in stock, you’re free to claim it.
Also, I just did a little research and it turns out that the least popular Sitting Cuties plushie on the site is… Slakoth.
Poor little guy.
