Pokémon Gen 10 Nintendo Switch 2 teaser roasted by fans

Pokémon Gen 10 Nintendo Switch 2 teaser roasted by fans

Consider us shocked

2025 should see the announcement of the next Nintendo console, the Nintendo Switch 2, and with that will come a new Pokémon game.

This has been leaked previously with the leaker, Centro Leaks, reporting that we’ll see several new Pokémon titles on the hardware.

Pokémon is teaming up with Aardman animation for some new cartoons coming soon

This seems like a pretty obvious statement as every Nintendo console has seen a Pokémon title releases, so of course, Reddit is roasting this ‘leak.’

“I mean, obviously there will be multiple Pokémon games on the next console,” says Schitzl1996.

This comes after Centro Leaks stated that we’d see a Gen 10 Pokémon game, as well as remakes of older titles as we’ve seen in the past.

“What a wild leak, didn’t see that coming,” joked ZXXII on the Reddit thread.

In reply, MadeByHideoForHideo said, “Next thing you're gonna tell me that Mario games are greenlit as well. I wouldn't be able to believe it!”

It’s hardly a surprise, we’re always going to get more Pokémon games with each system as it’s the only place to play them.

Nintendo is hardly going to skip releasing Pokémon games on the most advanced hardware they’ve ever developed.

The roasting continued with another user saying, “Gen 10 on next gen ? SUCH A SUPRISING LEAK.”

Though it’s not just the leak itself being roasted, the potential game is catching strays too.

“How about just the one and actually give it the time and budget to not be as awful as the last few Pokémon open world 3d games ?” said Pen_Dragons_Pizza.

This is in response to the less than desirable Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, which were plagued with problems upon launch.

Hopefully, we’ll get some official word on the next Pokémon game in early 2025, perhaps when the Switch 2 is properly unveiled.

Then we can start cathing them all once again.
