We are getting some brand new Pokémon content at the start of early 2025– and you won’t have to spend a penny to get your hands on it.
“Monpoké” is an official line of Pokémon merch released by The Pokémon Company, which debuted back in early April this year.
For those of you unfamiliar with the Monpoké brand, it’s essentially just Pokémon in baby form.

So far Monpoké has spawned cute plushies, children’s books and clothes, but now we’re finally getting the one thing fans have been begging for since it was announced: an anime adaptation.
The trailer for the Monpoké anime adaptation debuted on YouTube on Tuesday night, which is where the anime will continue to air for the foreseeable future.
That’s because, by the sounds of things, the anime will be an online-exclusive kind of deal and won’t actually be aired on TV or streaming.
Clearly The Pokémon Company want some of that YouTube Kids money, considering it’s the only platform you’ll be able to watch Monpoké on.

The series is being produced by Fanworks animation studio, who are most well known for their work on Aggretsuko, Please Take My Brother Away!, and the 2022 Tom and Jerry anime.
Sorry but, I can’t be the only one who had no idea there was a Tom and Jerry anime? Also apparently it’s good? Jeez, this revelation is more exciting than the actual Monpoké announcement.
According to the press release for the Monpoké announcement, it series will debut on the Pokémon Kids TV YouTube account in February 2025.
There’s currently no word on whether or not that means we’ll be getting an English adaptation of the series or not, but I think the chances of one are pretty high considering the press release specifically said “Pokémon Kids TV” and not “Pokémon Kids TV Japan” (with the former being the English version of the same channel).

Anyway, does anyone know where I can watch this Tom and Jerry anime?
