We’re only a few days away from finding out which games will be included in February’s extra and premium tier PlayStation Plus catalogue drop but until then, let’s see what essential has to offer.
January marked a strong start to the year. I hope you grabbed Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order while you had the chance. There really is no better time to play the title with Jedi: Survivor just around the corner. Thankfully, February’s line-up is equally strong - and available to download right now. PS Plus subscribers can get their hands on OlliOlli World, Evil Dead: The Game, Destiny 2: Beyond Light plus a GTA-inspired fan favourite.
Take a look at the latest trailer for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor below. The game is due to be released on 28 April.
The final game included in this month’s line-up is Mafia: Definitive Edition. If you don’t know, Mafia: Definitive Edition is the 2020 remake of the classic Mafia, which originally came out in 2002. I can attest, it is excellent. What’s also great is that you can hit credits in around 10 to 15 hours, so it’s the perfect game to slot in between your larger open-world titles.

As reported by ComicBook, fans are remarking that the crime-caper is the perfect game to play during the Grand Theft Auto VI announcement drought we’re currently in. One user commented, “Played half of Mafia remake in one sitting, hell of a game. A little shocked we don’t get more crime epic-style games like this anymore.”
Not only will Mafia: Definitive Edition offer you a dose of GTA-esque fun, many fans have also deemed it to be the “best remake” of all time. One user called the game a “world class masterpiece,” while another said they couldn’t stop “marvelling at its presentation.” What are you waiting for? Go download Mafia: Definitive Edition now.
