It’s not like PlayStation Plus is held in high regard.
That being said, January’s offering is a particularly shocking update for the service, not least of all because of one game.

Gamers aren’t displeased just because it’s a “mid game”, but also because the servers for the title are no longer being updated.
Although this isn’t as bad as them being shut down, players do wonder how long it’ll be before that announcement is made.
Judging by how much flack PS Plus and the game are getting right now, it feels like only a matter of time.

There are some gamers who are interested in downloading the game, but they’re few in number.

Arguably, it doesn’t help matters that the only decent game on offer is The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe.
When there’s only one stellar game, it sticks out like a sore thumb.
To make matters even worse, this isn’t the first time attempt made to give this game away – last year it was available for free via Amazon Gaming.

Nobody can give this failed title away fast enough.
For those of you bitterly disappointed by this month’s collection of free games, there’s something else to play for: PlayStation has some free store credit up for grabs.
We know it isn’t much, but it’s something.
