One gamer believes they’ve uncovered the PlayStation 6’s design.
As we know from the backlash when the Xbox Series X was unveiled, the shape of a console is of great importance.
This is why many are clamouring to discover what the PlayStation 6 will look like.

It could be argued that Sony won’t alter much, however, given the fact that this will welcome in a new generation of gaming, that seems highly unlikely.
Redditor tuchaioc believes that they’ve worked out the design for the upcoming hardware, and while their theory may hold weight for some, that doesn’t prevent fellow gamers from joking about the intended design.
Using PlayStation’s past designs, alongside the buildings that resemble them, the OP theorises that the next console will be more triangular in shape.

User DDzxy suggested that it’ll be box-like, and that Sony could just stick an X on it to finish the design.

Though, in Microsoft’s defence, everything is an Xbox now, so its looks don’t necessarily matter anymore.
If this theory is legitimate – we doubt it – then what will Sony do now that it’s been uncovered?

“Sony furiously scrapping the current concept design and finding another building…” commented Spacepickle89.
It’s not like there’s a shortage of buildings to choose from, assuming this is how Sony makes design decisions.
Whether you think this theory bogus or not, it’s “great” in its own unique way. And we’re not necessarily talking about the design...
