PlayStation Plus subscribers have last chance to play some massive open world RPGs

We all know how it feels to have a backlog of games that is longer than our arms. However, to make things even more complicated, Sony is giving PlayStation Plus subscribers one last chance to play some massive open-world RPGs before they leave the service.

All good things must come to an end and that appears to be the case for some much-loved games leaving the PlayStation Plus catalogue. For £6.99 a month, these titles are available to buy and download and give players the chance to access both AAA and indie games for a lot cheaper than their retail price. With Xbox and PlayStation subscription services being as popular as ever, you should make sure to make the most out of your money for grabbing these titles before they’re gone forever (or until they add them again).

Make sure you grab Stray on PlayStation Plus before it's gone!

The list of games leaving soon was pointed out on the r/PlayStationPlus Reddit by one user who wrote, “Since most games added to the Extra catalog seem to leave after 1 year (6 months in some cases), you should play those games now which are approaching that time period so that you don't miss out. The news was posted alongside a list of the 21 games that will be leaving the service shortly. It includes big titles such as the Bioshock series, Borderlands: The Handsome Collection, Stray, Yakuza 3, 4 & 5, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City - The Definitive Edition and more.

With this list of games leaving soon, it may be a bit risky to start one of the big titles but small single-story games such as Stray would be perfect. Not to mention Inside and Limbo will be the perfect games to play during the spooky months.

It is also worth noting that any monthly PlayStation Plus games you buy and download will remain accessible to you as long as you stay subscribed. However, games included in the Extra and Premium service can only be accessed until they leave the service. Between this and the recent price increase, fans aren’t too happy with Sony.
