Who tuned into last night’s State of Play? It wasn’t Sony’s most monumental offering, but we did get to see some cool sneak peaks including a fresh look at Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. What I didn’t expect to see is March’s PlayStation Plus line-up. Announcing it during a State of Play? Unheard of.
To recap, all PlayStation Plus subscribers can currently grab February’s offerings. The essential tier line up includes OlliOlli World, Evil Dead: The Game, Mafia: Definitive Edition and Destiny 2: Beyond Light. If you’re an extra or premium tier subscriber, February has been a real treat. The monthly line-up includes Horizon Forbidden West, The Quarry, and Borderlands 3. Today though, we’re here to talk about the March drop which features a day one release.
That day one release is the delightful Tchia which I cannot wait to play. Take a look at the latest trailer below.
Let’s begin with the essential offerings. This month, subscribers can download Battlefield 2042, Minecraft Dungeons, and Code Vein. Those will become available to download on 7 March and you have until 3 April to add them to your library. I’ve seen mixed responses to the line-up, perhaps because Battlefield 2042 has such an abysmal reputation. The title was buggy beyond belief at launch but regular players are saying it’s actually in a great state now. Maybe this is the beginning of Battlefield 2042’s redemption arc.

Sony also teased a couple of the titles that’ll soon be joining the extra and premium catalogues in March. This isn’t the full line-up, nor do we have a date for when the catalogue will update, but subscribers will soon gain access to Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection, Ghostwire: Tokyo, Immortals Fenyx Rising, and Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Extraction.
Following last year’s successful day one launch of Stray, new title Tchia will also be getting a day one release in the extra tier catalogue. The tropical open-world sandbox adventure stars Tchia as she sets off to rescue her father from the cruel tyrant Meavora. It looks utterly joyful.
