Xbox, and Microsoft, are being torn apart by fans on the pricing of their latest console announcement.
The company recently discussed launching a new version of the Xbox Series X which is currently up for preorder.
Gaming is being celebrated by Amazon Prime with the new anthology show Secret Level
The latest iteration of the console will come with a new look - a galactic, starry pattern - and a larger SSD to store more games, jumping from the standard 1TB to 2TB.

Many fans are ridiculing the price point of the hardware which is placed at $599.99.
Given that the Xbox Series X storage can be increased with a removable drive from Seagate, players don’t see the need for this pricing.
“Wonder what the sales will be like for this one lol” said AmericanNightmare on Twitter.
Social media users are targeting the lack of first-party exclusives for Xbox with comments like, “For what?! All the games coming to PS5” and “2 TB for what though? Xbox got no games this generation.”

Twitter user, Cody, thinks the money is better spent elsewhere, “600 dollars. Spend an extra 200 and build a decent PC.”
Among all the Twitter replies, most think that Xbox is “cooked” or “crazy” for trying to sell a console for that price with no hardware improvements.
There’s no denying that many think it’s a lovely-looking console with the new design, but it doesn’t warrant such an increased price.
Another Twitter comment gets to the root of the anger, “They find it hard to sell the 1TB so in their wisdom bang another couple of hundred on and add 1TB. By the way, I own the 1TB with a 1TB expansion and it's never been full.”

Out of the hundreds of comments, only a few are seeing this as a positive move, making the move seem out of touch with the current gaming landscape.
