Scouring the Xbox Store for must-buy discounts just got way easier thanks to a very handy feature that’s currently being rolled out via the Microsoft Xbox Insider Program.
Let’s face it, we’re all always on the lookout for a great deal. You may have 30 games sitting in your backlog but is that going to stop you from bagging a discount on a game you’ve had your eye on for several months? I think not.
Well, looking for such deals could soon become a much speedier process if this upcoming feature is anything to go by.

“Finding a great deal shouldn't be difficult, so we've made it easier. With today's update, a random subset of users will notice an improved experience, making it easier to identify sales and take advantage of them,” Microsoft told Insider users.
“In addition to searching the Microsoft Store, more information regarding sales will now be visible when selecting a game on Home and when searching from Home or the guide.”
If there’s a downside to this, it’s simply that those of us who are not in the Insider Program cannot yet check out the feature but I’m imagining we’ll see a worldwide rollout in the coming weeks or months.
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is set to land on Xbox Series X/S consoles and PC later this year.
If you are an insider, the feature is available for Alpha Ring and Alpha Skip Ahead Ring members, as reported by Neowin.

Both of those tiers will also benefit from an update to the Xbox Wireless Controller’s firmware.
The update applies “fixes to address the Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 paddles remaining active with the default profile,” in addition to fixing “an issue with unexpected input behaviour when using a 3.5mm and USB joystick together with the Xbox Adaptive Controller.”
Again, this update should also roll out to all Xbox users within the coming months.
As a reminder, Xbox users can also look forward to this year’s Xbox Games Showcase set to be held on 9 June, followed by [Redacted] Direct - likely an event on the next Call of Duty instalment.
