By carefully placing plants and animals, you will be able to create the perfect world full of life and colour.
“The objective is to foster and sustain a thriving and diverse biomes, where each component coexists in a symbiotic harmony,” the Xbox synopsis reads.
“By utilizing strategic thinking and a keen eye for balance, players are granted the power to position a wide array of plants and animals, curating an environment that caters to their preferences and aspirations.”
As a result, Preserve features vertical map expansion so that players can view their world in whatever way best suits them in order to make the most of every space.

Additionally, there are plenty of biomes to pick from including: alpine forests, savannas and Caribbean reefs and each will have its own unique set of plants, wildlife and environmental challenges.
Creating your own biome may get a bit stressful so Preserve encourages players to step back, activate photo mode and spend some time documenting your journey.
As of right now, Preserve sits at a “very positive” rating on Steam and is recommended for lovers of cosy games with an element of puzzle-solving thrown in.
One positive review reads: “This game has become one of my most favourite ones right from the beginning and playing it is a lot of fun.

“So from my point of view, an absolute recommendation to buy if you like that sort of thing.”
Whilst another says: “Super chill game. Beautiful soundtrack, play at your own pace. The mechanics are easy to grasp but really takes some forethought to maximize the outcome…
It's the perfect kind of background puzzle game to play without any real deep mental commitment.”
