Xbox gamers furious as yet another game indefinitely delayed

Xbox gamers furious as yet another game indefinitely delayed

Something is amiss

It seems it isn’t just Black Myth: Wukong that has been hit with an indefinite delay on Xbox. Now, Enotria: The Last Song is suffering the same fate, and players aren’t happy.

If you missed the news, Black Myth: Wukong was supposed to appear for Xbox but news began to spread that a delay occurred due to technical issues.

Epic Mickey Rebrushed is out later this month for all the Disney fans

Then, the news switched to Sony having paid to keep Black Myth: Wukong exclusive to the PlayStation. For the record, the rumours swirled back to the blame lying with Xbox.

Now, the developers behind Enotria: The Last Song have tweeted that the Xbox version of their game is indefinitely delayed, while PC and PlayStation will see the game on 19 September.

In their social media message to fans, Jyamma Games said that Xbox and Microsoft are to blame “This task is nearly impossible with Microsoft taking months to reply to us when we have the game ready for submission.”

Their honesty is refreshing, but saddening. If Microsoft are indeed dragging its heels, we could be missing out on a terrific game.

While there are many fans lamenting the hold-up and pleading with Xbox to talk to the developers, some are less than sure this is the true story.

Positive messages of support are coming out of the growing community for the game with one user posting, “I hope you’re able to get the help and communication you need from Microsoft/Xbox to release your game on the Xbox platform, good luck guys!”

The theories are getting wild on social media, with many placing the blame on Sony again and even accusing the developers of spreading misinformation.

One Twitter user is providing screenshots saying the developers have always prioritised PlayStation over Xbox and the hold-up shouldn’t be on Microsoft.

It’s not the first time console wars have broken out over a game and it probably won’t be the last.
