Plans for the weekend are sorted

Yesterday saw the Xbox Free Play Days event kick off which means that Xbox players can get their hands on three free games ahead of the weekend.

With the weekend now kicking off, you would be right to start planning what you are going to play.

Check out the trailer for Dying Light below!

Luckily, if you are an Xbox gamer, you can pick one of three new titles added to the console to celebrate the Free Play Days event.

All you will need is a subscription to Xbox Game Pass Core, Xbox Game Pass Standard or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate to be eligible.

So without further ado, let’s take a look at what’s available.

First up is NBA 2K25, the latest instalment in the long-running NBA 2K series.

In this basketball game, players will be able to pursue their NBA dreams where they can choose between leading a dynasty in MyCAREER mode or building one from scratch as a General Manager in MyNBA.

With multiple modes to choose from, there are endless hours of fun to be had if sports are your thing.

If they are not, you can check out Dying Light, a 2015 survival horror game which follows an undercover agent who is sent to infiltrate a quarantine zone in the Middle East.

In an open-world full of flesh-hungry zombies, you will have to do what it takes, even if that means drop-kicking enemies and parkouring away from hordes.

With Dying Light 2 Stay Human now out, this will be the perfect chance to catch up on the series so far.

Last but not least is ExoCross, an offroad racing game that introduced 4CPT vehicle physics (four-way contact patch traction technology).

Take on multiple racing challenges featuring off-road terrain, powerful open-wheel vehicles and unparalleled handling as you fight to become the greatest off-road racer of all time.

All of these games are available to play on Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S until 20 October so don’t miss out this weekend.
