Return to the caped crusader

With a hit TV show and a disappointing movie set in the Batman universe currently the talk on everybody’s lips, it is no wonder that many fans are flocking to this free Xbox download.

Being a Batman fan in 2024 is a bit hit or miss so far.

Meanwhile in the Batman universe...

With HBO’s The Penguin performing incredibly well and Joker: Folie à Deux performing, well, not as incredibly, it seems as though the universe surrounding the caped crusader is showing no signs of slowing down.

When it comes to Batman video games, we can all express our love for the Batman: Arkham series, and understandably so.

However, its Telltale interpretation can definitely hold its own.

First released in 2016, Batman: The Telltale Series is an episodic point-and-click title based on the DC Comics character Batman.

Spanning across five episodes, its second season, Batman: The Enemy Within followed in 2017 and was considered quite an improvement on its prequel.

Now a few years on and the Batman hype has made the Telltale series rear its head and luckily, many of its episodes are now available to download for free.

Courtesy of Xbox, Batman: The Telltale Series and Batman: The Enemy Within has multiple episodes available for free.

This includes episodes three, four and five of the first series and episodes two, three, four and five of the sequel.

With the base game and first episodes not being available, Xbox is not slick but this is still an epic deal if you find yourself eager for more after playing the first few hours.

The episodes can be found on the Xbox Store so get a move on if you are eager for more of the caped crusader.

In related news, fans recently got their first look at a brand-new Joker. Spoilers ahead.
