If you’re a fan of pro wrestling, football, racing or baseball, then you might want to check out these four games that are free to play for Xbox users this weekend.
One of the games in question is 2023’s AEW Fight Forever, developed by the veteran WWE studio Yuke’s. Inspired by the Nintendo 64 classics of yesteryear, such as WCW/nWo Revenge and WWF No Mercy, AEW Fight Forever is an accessible game for all skill levels which welcomes both button mashers and strategic gamers from all generations.

In our review of AEW Fight Forever, I said: “Sure, this game is basic in a lot of ways, but it’s all about taking it back to the basics and ultimately having fun and isn't that what playing video games is all about?”

That being said, a year after its release, there’s not much else to do in AEW Fight Forever, once you've done its story campaign once or twice and played its modes multiple times. However, given the fact that Xbox gamers can play this game for free this weekend, it’s a perfect game to blast through for the next day or two to earn some achievements.
Yet, as part of Microsoft’s ‘Free Play Days’ promotion, not only will you get to play AEW Fight Forever for free but also The Crew Motorfest, both of which are available from Thursday, 11 July until Sunday, 14 July.
You will also get to play EA Sports FC 24 and MLB the Show 24 for two additional days, ending on 16 July. You will need an Xbox Game Pass subscription to play all games in the promotion apart from MLB the Show 24. Anyone can access that particular game.

All you have to do to play all four games for free this weekend is download them directly from the Xbox Marketplace via your console or the Xbox mobile app. What’s more, if you decide to purchase any of those games, save data and all achievements earned will carry over.
