Xbox’s latest edition of Free Play Days has arrived.
If you’re not familiar with Free Play Days, there is a catch - and that is that you typically do need an Xbox Game Pass subscription to get involved, although it doesn’t matter whether it’s an Ultimate, Standard, or Core one.
That being said, occasionally, a game is included that’s available to all regardless of whether you have a subscription.

That’s somewhat the case this month. It’s not a full-game, but all Xbox users can currently sample a two-hour free trial of the delightful A Little to the Left.
This is a cosy puzzler that tasks you with sorting, stacking, and organising household items whilst an adorable but mischievous cat attempts to cause chaos.
The trial will remain available until Sunday 26 January at 11.59pm PT. I adore this one so I implore you to give it a go.
For those of you that do have a Game Pass subscription, you’ll also gain access to three full length titles.

DOOM: The Dark Ages’ release date was confirmed to be 15 May in last night’s Developer Direct.
The first of those titles is Train Sim World 5.
I’m sure you’ll know what to expect with this one but if you don’t, you’ll get the chance to master the world’s railways, organising your fleet, overseeing signal changes, and checking for tickets.

As someone who commutes, I can’t think of anything worse than spending more time on trains, even if it’s a virtual one but hey, you may not feel the same way.
If that’s not your cup of tea, perhaps Way of the Hunter is.
This one sees you become the custodian of a hunting lodge. Alongside looking after the place, you’ll also take off into the rich open world surrounding you armed with … oh no. I’m not sure I like where this is going.
Both games are available until Sunday 26 January at 11.59pm PT.

Finally, you can sample For Honor, which’ll remain playable for slightly longer - until 30 january at 11.59pm PT.
For Honor, as I’m sure you know, is an established MOBA where you’ll pick from one of three factions: samurai, vikings, and knights.
Hopefully, there’s something that appeals to you here - and I really hope that’s A Little to the Left.
