Xbox announces 6 free games you can download in November

Six bangers too

Xbox is giving its players the chance to play an additional six games for free next month, in addition to the hundreds of titles already on Xbox Game Pass.

Xbox Game Pass it’s a pretty sweet deal depending on how much free time you have to play games, and with some of the latest AAA titles like Call Of Duty Black Ops 6 being day one releases on the subscription service it’s usually good value.

In November the roster of games playable at no additional cost is going to increase by six, and almost all of them are worth trying out.

The first two games being added next month are the real-time strategy games Starcraft and Starcraft II, Activision-Blizzard titles landing on 5 November.

This will be followed by Goat Simulator Remastered, which looks surprisingly good and worth a revisit if you liked the wackiness of the original. Goat Simulator Remastered is joining Xbox Game Pass on 7 November.

Next is another exciting addition, Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, which will once again see players take to the skies in a variety of different aircraft on 19 November.

Finally, arguably the best game on this is STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl. This first-person survival shooter is a highly-anticipated addition that many critics are calling a serious Game Of The Year contender, so definitely give this one a go even if you haven't played the games before it.

All in all it’s a pretty decent line-up for November, and could create some serious competition for PlayStation Plus depending on what games are featured in Sony’s line-up.

Of course you will need a valid subscription in order to play the above games, but even if you just subscribe for a month it works out cheaper than buying the games separately.
