Xbox Game Pass is one of the pricier gaming subscription services out there, but it does boast an impressive, ever-expanding library.
In fact, an additional five titles are on their way this September - and I’m here to help you find your next play.
It goes without saying that these games will be available to console and ultimate subscribers. This does not concern core catalogue changes.

The first title this month is already available, as of yesterday, and that is Star Trucker (console, cloud, and PC).
Developed by Monster and Monster, this is a transportation sim with a difference.
You’ll be hauling cargo across space: “Keep your space suit close as you search for fame and fortune among the stars in a game that puts an interstellar twist on the truck sim genre.”
From today, you can also nab Age of Mythology: Retold (Xbox Series X/S, PC, and cloud) from developers World’s Edge and Forgotten Empires.

In our review, we wrote, “Age of Mythology: Retold does enough to warrant a new release. It gives players spectacular powers and so many ways to play that it’s dizzying.”
ICYMI: Astro Bot launches on PS5 this Frioday. Take a look at the game in action.
Tomorrow, you can add Expeditions: A MudRunner Game to your collection (console, cloud, and PC).

This one’s a off-road vehicular adventure from developer Saber Interactive.
“Embark on scientific expeditions with this new off-road adventure from the creators of MudRunner and SnowRunner,” reads the synopsis.
“Lead research missions as you drive a variety of all-terrain vehicles, using high-tech tools and managing your camp and crew to ensure your success in the wild.”
That’ll be joined on 11 September by the somewhat similar Riders Republic (console, cloud, and PC).

From Ubisoft, this particular title sees players choose from a bike, skis, wingsuit, or snowboard as they zoom across an open world “sports paradise”.
Finally, rounding out what’s a pretty transport-heavy month, we have Train Sim World 5 (console, cloud, and PC).
Additional games should be announced midway through the month. Let’s hope for a slightly more varied line-up next time around.
