Starfield is one of the most highly anticipated video games in recent years and fans can't contain themselves when it comes to getting a slice of the upcoming Bethesda RPG.
According to Bethesda, Starfield has been decades in the making. However, thanks to modern-day technology, the developer's vision of the intergalactic RPG has now come to fruition.
Take a look at the latest trailer for Starfield below.
Starfield is also one of Bethesda’s most ambitious games which boasts over 1,000 planets for the player to explore. That being said, only 10% of those planets have some form of meaningful life. Yet, the prospect of exploring the galaxy that Starfield has to offer is an exciting one nonetheless. Other than giving us plenty of gameplay and developer insights leading up to the launch of Starfield, Bethesda and Xbox have released a snazzy limited-edition wireless controller and headset. Seriously, those two items are every bit as snazzy in real life as they are in the marketing material.

One other limited edition item that fans would love to see is a Starfield console. After all, over the years, we’ve had limited edition consoles for the likes of Halo, Gears of War, Forza Motorsport and more. As far as I'm aware, the only limited edition Xbox Series X console to release at retail was for Halo Infinite. It is strange that Microsoft hasn't produced more consoles inspired by its most popular IPs.
Not content with waiting around, a Starfield fan has taken matters into their own hands by creating a custom Xbox Series X, and we want it now! The fan in question is Reddit user Wolfykurt and they have laser-cut acrylic to achieve an intergalactic air intake port inspired by the game.
Wolfykurt mentions in the Reddit post that this console is still a work-in-progress, and next, they will be working on the front details which include “some painted text and some elements of red, grey and bronze colouring.” A Redditor raised concerns regarding potential overheating, and Wolfykurt explained that the temperature of the console will be tested and adjustments will be made if required.
“Yeah. This is a sweet design. It’s crisp and whimsical,” said Mallrat1973. “I need this so bad,” replied Nextspectre. “Woah that is sick!!!!!! I would pay huge money for that but I’m broke as s**t haha,” responded SlowBRO457.
