Select fans will be able to get an early sneak peek at Starfield in just a few weeks, just in case you really can't wait the 30 days for that 1 September early access launch.
It's definitely fair to say that hype is starting to reach silly levels. Earlier this week, Bethesda teased an ‘astonishing’ number of side quests. Factor that in to the confirmation that the game has over 1,000 planets, various factions and branching paths and a huge number of classes including a space samurai, and you can see why people are excited.
The good news? A lucky number of you will be able to check Starfield out in a couple of weeks.

Take a look at Starfield in action below!
Microsoft recently announced its "biggest ever" booth presence at Gamescom 2023. Playable demos include Towerborne, Stalker 2, and Payday 3.
While Starfield and Forza Motorsport unfortunately won't be playable at the show, attendees to Gamescom can check out "exclusive theatre presentations" for the Xbox titles.

It remains to be seen what exactly of Starfield will be shown off at Gamescom, but we'd assume the use of the word "exclusive" means it'll be something from the game we haven't seen yet. Given the game is out just a few weeks after Gamescom, it'd be very strange indeed not to have anything substantially new to show.
For those not in the know, Gamescom takes place in Cologne, Germany between 23 and 27 August. It's the biggest consumer games show in the world, and you can buy tickets here. Entry itself is pretty reasonable, but those of you not based in Germany will obviously have to factor in flights. Still, Cologne is a lovely city so if you're thinking of going, why not make a holiday out of it?
Starfield is currently available to pre-download if you've pre-ordered the game, or if you're an Xbox Game Pass subscriber.
