New Xbox hardware roasted by angry fans

New Xbox hardware roasted by angry fans

Can you blame them?

Another awesome Xbox Series X/S is up for grabs, but only as part of a new giveaway to the dismay of fans.

Xbox makes some of the best special edition consoles and controllers in the business, so it’s unfortunate that most of them can’t actually be bought.

PlayStation recently barged in with some competition for shiny new hardware though, with the new Astro Bot controller

The latest console the company has slapped together is one Star Wars fans will want instantly, but unfortunately you’ll have to be very lucky to get your hands on one.

To celebrate the imminent release of Star Wars Outlaws, the review of which recently went live on GAMINGbible by yours truly, Xbox has created what could be the best special edition Xbox Series X so far.

Boasting a metallic silver coating similar to the in-game starship, the Trailblazer, the console looks like it’s been ripped straight out of the Star Wars galaxy and dropped off into our reality.

It’s beautifully paired with a controller that looks like it’s part of the speeder, with two handlebars either said of it.

Again you can’t buy this outright, you have to win it as part of the giveaway which also includes an adorable little Nix plushy.

As you’d expect fans feel slightly bitter about it, with one simply saying “another Xbox you can’t buy” and another adding “actually! Why do you not just sell editions like this? People WILL buy it.”

“That’s messed up, I don’t wanna rely on winning raffles, can we get an option to purchase it?” asked another.

It’s a shame but given the complexity of this special edition, especially that controller, it makes a little more sense why you can’t just buy one, so if you’re feeling lucky and want to add it to your collection don’t miss the giveaway.
