If you are desperate for more Halo goodness, then it could be exciting times ahead for fans of John-117, aka the Master Chief.
To say that the Halo franchise is a goliath would be an understatement. Not only did it help the original Xbox make its mark in the video game industry with the launch of Halo: Combat Evolved in 2001, but it’s gained a legion of fans over the years.

Whether it’s Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo 2, Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST or Halo: Reach, this series has provided gamers with many fond memories. However, some could argue that since Bungie handed over the full-time reins to Halo Studios (formerly 343 Industries), the popular FPS series has lost its way.

In recent months, we’ve heard a lot of rumours claiming that the Halo franchise is going multiplatform, most notably with Halo: The Master Chief Collection which could see it launch on PlayStation 5 and even the Nintendo Switch 2.

“I’m surprised more people aren’t talking about the last point from my report which states Halo Studios is playtesting future Halo games on a weekly basis. Since they are this far in development, I expect at least one new Halo game announcement this year,” tweeted Rebs Gaming.

The entire Halo series is available to play at no extra cost with an Xbox Game Pass subscription.
