The Elder Scrolls VI has been acknowledged for the first time in ages by Bethesda, in a very exciting announcement from the studio.
If you’ve been eagerly awaiting the next Elder Scrolls game you’re certainly not alone, as fans have been waiting for news on The Elder Scrolls VI ever since that cruel teaser was dropped over seven years ago.
We could really do with a new one, one that, yknow, actually shows us the game itself
While we’re yet to see official gameplay Bethesda did recently take to X with a very exciting opportunity, one that die-hard fans won’t want to miss out on.

One lucky winner will be able to create their very own NPC to feature in the game, as part of a new competition to help the Make-A-Wish foundation.
The competition will take place in the form of a bid, with the participant who donates enough money to the cause being the one to get their NPC created.
As you can imagine many were excited by the opportunity, but many more were excited that the game was actually mentioned in the first place.
“First bit of news we've heard about this game in like 7-8 years” said one commenter, and another added that no matter who wins it’ll be “cool to see them in 2036.” At the time of writing there’s still no release window for the game…

Some even suggested that whoever wins should recreate the famous internet sensation, Skyrim Grandma, presuming she’s not in the game already of course.
Either way this is a lovely idea from Bethesda, as aside from our created characters I’m sure many of us have wanted to actually star in one of these games even as a side character.
Giving the fans the chance to fulfil that dream while helping a foundation like Make-A-Wish is fantastic.
