Some things are better left alone.

You might have already cleansed your minds of the disaster that was The Day Before, but we remember.

Not only was the game almost unplayable, but the developers then closed its studios within four days of its launch.

Head to its Steam page if you don't believe us.

Look at what could have been in The Day Before

But that’s not where it ended; they then came back asking for help funding a different game.

Most would call it quits after that, but for some odd reason the developers cannot go with good grace.

Instead, Fntastic keep coming back for more humiliation.

The devs returned in September with a Kickstarter campaign for a game that has since failed as well. Shocking, really.

At least this one didn’t launch before Fntastic realised it needed to be culled.

Interestingly though, the day the devs decided to call time on the second project, they announced a third game at the same time.

You can’t make this up.

According to Fntastic, this new game is “exactly what you've been waiting for”.

Backlash has already been swift after this latest development, yet the devs don’t seem to appreciate just how much of a debacle this actually is.

“We know our decisions and projects might not be for everyone, but we’re working hard to create a game that our supporters will like and enjoy,” Fntastic posted on Twitter.

Some gamers are trying to give the devs the benefit of the doubt, however, it’s hard to offer support when they’ve been burnt not once, but twice.

It would be amazing to see this third game not only exist but be playable as well. That said, we’ll believe it when we see it.

If nothing else, it’s going to be one heck of a show if this new project fails as spectacularly as all the others have.
