Steam users can currently grab a brand-new batch of free games from the platform, perfect for gamers on a budget who just recently spaffed all their money away on a new PC and copy of Starfield.
There are, as I'm sure you know, plenty of free games to be had on Steam, especially if you know where to look. Just recently Steam dropped a huge promotion with over 70 free demos to spotlight some of the most interesting indie releases of this year and beyond, but that's not why we're here today.
Take a look at Stalker 2: Heart Of Chernobyl in action below!
At the time of writing there are currently six new free games Steam users can get their hands on right now. These aren't exactly the biggest or best AAA releases, to be clear. These are the kinds of games that probably would have flown under your radar were they not free to check out, but what good is a platform like Steam if you can't try new things?

The six new free games are:
- Dawlands - An open-world survival crafting cross-platform game with a massive world and epic lore.
- Escape Memoirs - A humorous co-operative escape room game where you are a henchman who has to make his way through variety of puzzles.
- Master Of Puppets - In this prologue you will step into the shoes of little Eddie, a 12 year old boy who goes to the amusement park with his parents until what would be a fun day out turns into a nightmare.
- Top Jump - Scale the cave, avoid obstacles, and race for the top spot on the limited map.
- Out Of Hand - Join 2-8 players who've all lost their arms in a tragic accident to be the last one standing. Um... okay then.
- Labyrinth Trials - A game designed around speedrunning.
There you have it. Six free games. Get stuck in now, or simply stare into space until Starfield launches in a few weeks because you know it's not worth getting invested in anything else right now.
