You know the drill by now. Here at GAMINGbible, we like to ensure that gaming is accessible to all, regardless of budget. With that in mind, we keep our eye on all the latest deals and freebies.
Well, today I bring you great news if you’re a PC gamer. An additional 12 free-to-play gems have joined Steam, and there really is a bit of something for everyone so without further ado, let’s kick things off. As pointed out by Twitter’s SteamGamesPC, users can now enjoy PEAK.53, a new tactical shooter from Dirty Bird Games. Enjoy “close-quarter fights, skill-based tactical combat, [and] nostalgic inspired gameplay.” The game is in Early Access but already has Mostly Positive reviews.
If that’s not your cup of tea, Protocol: Children of War is also in Early Access with 80% Positive reviews. Developed by Task Force Gaming, you’ll team up with five friends in a shooter based on the real experiences of US Army soldiers in Afghanistan. Next up, we have Signal - a third-person adventure developed by Sound Shore. You play a father searching for his daughter in a kind of dinosaur-ridden future. This one does have shocking reviews though, so we should move swiftly on.

Dead Space will soon land on Xbox Game Pass.
SquadBlast is a free-to-play multiplayer run and gun shooter from ULTRAHORSE. You’ll play in 5v5 matches. Set in 2042, SquadBlast features a society ruined by bankrupt governments, ruthless dictators, and selfish corporations. Looking for some undead action? You can sample the prologue to Infection Free Zone, a post-apocalyptic city builder from Jutsu Games.
This next one I’m kind of in love with. Leaf Blower Man: This Game Blows by Unbound Creations is exactly what it sounds like. You blow leaves, but you’re tasked with annoying your neighbours and sometimes the leaves fight back with swords. It’s bizarre and yet wonderful. It has 100% Very Positive reviews right now. Next up, C4cat Entertainment’s Zold:out describes itself as a “semi turn-based tactical RPG combined with deck building,” and it boasts a lovely anime art style.

Korgorus has released a demo for its game Dark Gravity. You can enjoy the prologue if you want a taste of this fast-paced, low poly vertical shoot’em game. This too has Very Positive reviews. Ice and Fire Isle Studio has released Tales of Spark: Probation. This game is filled with “real-time combat, abundant treasures, a rich storyline, and diverse character builds.”
We have just three games left to go. Fantasy War Studio’s Soul of War: Legions is a strategy deck-building game featuring 8 player PvP battles, whilst Home Designer Makeover Blast is something I would’ve played to death when I was about 12 years old. Developed by Tamalaki, you unsurprisingly make over people’s homes, swapping out the decor to achieve the perfect look.
Finally, we have Everguild’s Warhammer 40,000: Warpforge - a new digital collectible card game. Think Marvel Snap but set in the Warhammer universe, except Marvel Snap is infinitely better (sorry).
Hopefully something here proved to be your cup of tea. There’s plenty to peruse and keep you busy.
