Steam drops 4 brand-new free games you can download and keep forever

The weekend may be over but that doesn’t mean that our evenings can’t be spent playing an underrated gem.

Luckily, Steam has us covered once again by adding four incredible titles to its PC storefront and better yet? They are completely free to download.

First up is Terpaling Legend, a third-person multiplayer shooter with no goal required.

Grab some friends, start the game and get shooting. It couldn’t be simpler but it is guaranteed to offer hours of fun.

Next is Nifty Smashers, the “ultimate online smasher” which will see you brawl it out with friends online.

Enter the arena and battle with players from all over the world as you unlock multiple game modes such as 1v1, Danger Donut, Cheese Chase, and Hot Potato.

Fans of third-person shooters are in luck as Steam has yet another up for grabs with Metal Strike.

In this action-adventure shooter, players must team up with each other in a world affected by the apocalypse.

It will be up to you to reclaim Earth by defeating the mechanised monsters who threaten to destroy it.

Last but not least is ShapeShifter, a precision platformer where you will jump across platforms, swim underwater, fight and dodge enemies, and collect power ups in this love letter to the genre.
