If you’re in the lookout for something new to play on PC that won’t break the bank, Steam has got you covered.
An additional 12 free-to-play titles have landed on the service and while, yes, you’re unlikely to find a GOTY contender nestled amongst them, that doesn’t mean they’re not worth your time.
Let’s start with Bellumentum, developed by Tweaking Cat Studios.

This one’s a MOBA, albeit one with a twist. This 1v1 2D battle arena has been designed for those who constantly find themselves thinking they can do better than their teammates.
There are three factions, 16 characters, and a whopping 78 unique abilities to cycle through.
Next up is indie developer David Sofer’s Fear The Unknown - Dave Story, a sort of first-person horror meets walking simulation game.
Lasting about 30 minutes, the game charts the story of Dave, someone who’s sent to work in a remote location “deep and far from civilisation”.

Essentially, you’ll retrace what happened to Dave playing as “one of the lucky ones who met them and survived”. Creepy.
If cosy sims are more your speed, farm simulation title Sprout Crafter may be for you.
Marvel Rivals is a free-to-play title that's amassed a huge playerbase in recent months.
Developed by Crop Lab, this one is exactly what it says on the tin. You’ll plant crops, harvest them, care for animals, and explore.

It’s not revolutionary, but it’s a tried and tested formula that brings many of us comfort and relaxation.
If you want to team-up with a friend, Double Shoulders could be for you.
Developed by Double Shoulders Team, this horror platformer is essentially Little Nightmares in all but name.
You’ll control Lois and Sam, “two kids trying to escape from a strange place filled with dangers and challenges”.

I have to say, it may be sitting slightly in rip off territory, but this looks like a fantastic game.
These four titles join the previously added RPG Mystical Mushrooms, action-adventure Cat Rescue, co-op title Dodgy Deliveries, and puzzle-stealth game Scary Teacher 3D which we’ve also handily provided descriptions of.
But that’s not all, as you can also find out more about the recently added first-person shooter ReSpaced, turn-based RPG King Arthur: Legends Rise, platformer PIO, and platformer Eva’s Hook.
All in all, I’m sure there’s something to your tastes. I’m downloading Double Shoulders as we speak … to play after work, of course.
