Steam Next Fest is underway which means, yes, hundreds of new demos are now available to sample.
It can be hard to know where to begin but, of course, I’m on hand to help you out.
Fancy something that’s perhaps best described as The Legend of Zelda meets Studio Ghibli? We’ve got you covered.

You may be after something in the same creative vein as Fallout? We have something for that too.
Today’s recommendation though best suits those of you looking for a The Witcher-esque experience.
Ertugrul of Ulukayin is an upcoming medieval action-adventure game from developer Tekden Studio, and it looks very promising indeed.
In this third-person adventure, you’ll assume the role of a medieval warrior, gaining access to a semi open world.

Take a look at Ertugrul of Ulukayin in action below.
If you hadn't guessed from the title, Ertugrul of Ulukayin will transport you to the Turkish medieval era, where you’ll find yourself within the kingdom of Ahlat.
“Stand up for the innocent and face the secret order who's seeking to corrupt the land, be ready to fight the Mongols and legendary monsters lurking in the shadows,” the synopsis reads.

“The adventure continues even in your dreams. Experience Turkish mythology, where dreams can lead you to wisdom or drag you into a nightmare.”
You can expect all of the usual action-adventure fare.
You’ll partake in quests, side missions, and enemy skirmishes playing as three different characters: Ertugrul, Turgut, and Meryem.
Each has their own signature weapons and style, so at least one of the varying playstyles should suit you.

The game is set to launch in early access later this year, but in the meantime, you can enjoy a free demo as a part of Steam Next Fest.
Details on the demo are a tad thin in the ground, but it’s teased that you'll get the chance to familiarise yourself with both the game’s world and combat.
As a reminder, it’s free to download and is available now.
