As part of a new games festival on Steam, you can currently get your hands on three freebies. But you’re gonna have to be quick, as you only have 48 hours left to nab them.
Steam is currently holding the Steam Idler Fest, a games festival that’s promoting “Idle” games.
Idle games go by a lot of different names, such as incremental games, clicker games, or tap games, but they all have one thing in common: waiting.

Probably the most famous example of one of these games is Cookie Clicker, a game in which you click… a cookie… and stuff sort of happens…
Yeah, look, these games aren’t for everyone. They’re certainly not my cup of tea, but to each their own. I won’t judge you for playing Idle Lust: Succubus in Training, and you won’t judge me for playing Balatro for 12 hours a day– deal?
To celebrate the Steam Idler Fest, you can currently get your hands on a bunch of discounted games, including Yolk Heroes: A Long Tamago (25% off), Swords & Souls: Neverseen (60% off), Rusty's Retirement (33% off) and Melvor Idle (50% off).
Plus, there’s also a few freebies on offer.

Take a look at what's available in the event below.
Right now, until February 10, you can get your hands on two avatar frames and one animated avatar for absolutely zero cost, so you can show all of your friends that you love clicking stuff.
Alongside all of this, there’s also a bunch of new demos for several idle games, such as Garden Galaxy, Moose Miners, Idle Colony, Magical Girl Clicker and, uh, whatever Chonkers is.

Oh, it's a game about raising clinically obese cats. Yeah, never mind, I take back my previous statement. I'm officially judging you now.
If any of these tickle your fancy, make sure you hop on Steam in the next 48 hours before the Idler Fest ends.
