Four free titles are currently available to claim and keep forever on Steam, and thankfully one of them actually looks good!
As always, thank you to the Twitter account Free Steam Games for their tweet collating all of the games on this list.
Right, we’re gonna work from worst to best on this list so feel free to scroll to the end if you trust the collective judgement of Steam’s reviewers.

Although saying that, our first one doesn’t actually have a review consensus yet (although there’s probably a good reason for that).
PC Jumps is a game in which you yeet a car off of ramps. Yeah, look, we’re not starting off strong here because there really isn’t much more I can say about this one, other than the fact that the music in the trailer on Steam is offensively terrible. I’m actually in awe of how awful it is.
Alright, here’s a weird one: SERAPH : In the Darkness. I watched the trailers for this and thought, “eh, looks fine,” and then I peered over to the reviews to see that it currently has a “Mixed” rating with only 46% of the reviews being positive.
So why exactly is this one getting hammered so badly? Well, apparently it’s AI-generated slop that also pushes pay-to-win microtransactions on you that you have to pay for with… cryptocurrency? That’s a new one. Either way, sounds bloody awful. Give it a miss. Even PC Jumps sound better than this.

Marvel Rivals is a huge free-to-play success.
Phew, we’ve finally made it to the non-terrible portion of the list. Vector Strike is up next, and it looks alright honestly. It’s basically Rocket League mixed with basketball, except it’s still a football goal you score in.
It looks fun-ish, but it still only has a “Mixed” reception with only 64% of the reviews being positive. On the plus side, the bad reviews are mostly complaining about not being able to find online games to play, so perhaps the score will jump up on this one once it’s more popular.

And finally, Slumbering Feline. I think this looks neat. It’s a single-player Metroidvania where you play as a little cat wearing a witch’s hat.
Apparently it’ll take you about 20 minutes to beat, and the reviews are pretty uniformly positive. If you only try one game on this list, make sure it’s this one.
That’s all for now folks, but don’t worry - there’s probably gonna be another six thousand free titles dropping on Steam next week, so I’ll see you back here with a brand new list.
