Monday is a day where you’re either going to feel well-rested following a quiet weekend or absolutely knackered following a busy one.
I’ll admit, I’m the latter on this occasion so I understand the sleepy, fugue state you may be in.
It’s with that in mind that I’m hesitant to set the alarm bells ringing that’ll disturb you from your stupor from I’m afraid I’m going to have to.

Why? Well, you only have 24 hours left to nab a free game on Steam.
The game in question is Scheming Through The Zombie Apocalypse: The Beginning, an adventure title that’s actually the first part of a larger saga.
Developed by Entertainment Forge, the game is followed by a second episode titled Caged.
That particular instalment isn’t free but will only set you back 99p until 20 March.

As for The Beginning though, that’s totally free until 18 March at 5pm local time.
ICYMI: Dragon Age: The Veilguard is available via PlayStation Plus essential this month.
As for what Scheming Through The Zombie Apocalypse: The Beginning entails, you’ll join retired salesman rabbit Hank and canine companion Larry as they attempt to survive the apocalypse.

The duo will have to bargain to convince others to scavenge for them, trading items to survive.
You can gamble items too.
Essentially, the gist is to survive the apocalypse without putting yourself out too much.
I’ll admit, it’s hard for me to convince you that this game’s worth your while given the rather simple premise so I’m going to use a couple of reviews to help me out.

The Beginning boasts a ‘Very Positive’ review score on Steam.
“Fully voiced, good humour, absurd setting and characters and situations,” wrote one reviewer.
“Surprisingly entertaining and fun. It's free right now, so might as well grab it and give it a try,” added another.
Many report that you can finish the game in less than two hours so if you have a huge backlog, this shouldn’t add to that by much.

As I said though, you only have until tomorrow to claim it before it reverts to its usual price, so don’t delay if you want to try this one out.
