If you’ve ever dreamt of combining the roguelike gameplay of indie hit Binding of Isaac with the cottagecore picture-perfect visuals of Stardew Valley, well, you’ve come to the right place. Terracards is most definitely the best of both worlds, and you can sample it for free.
Terracards launched back in November and has already been showered in heaps of praise. In this tactical roguelike deckbuilder, you’ll be tasked with managing your own farm. “Farm, sell, learn, repeat,” the game teases, tasking you with using cards to manage your animals, crops, and infrastructure. Can you succeed in creating a profitable venture? Run out of funds and it’s game over.
Take a look at Terracards in action below.
The synopsis reads, “You've inherited your grandfather's farm, which has been reduced to a lone island amidst a relentless sea. With nothing but a deck of cards and the entrepreneurial spirit, you are tasked to pay off a mounting debt, turning this desolate patch of land into a thriving agrarian empire.”

Just over two months after launch, Terracards has already got a very respectable ‘Very Positive’ review rating of 88% on Steam. “I love this game. So simple yet so addictive - and just remember, always start corn,” advised one player. “This is a great game if you love collecting resources and managing them. The game ran very smoothly on my laptop. The price is great for the quality of the game,” said another.
Speaking of the price, the full version of Terracards will set you back just £7.49. Handily, there’s also a free demo available to sample now on Steam which means you can try before you buy to see if Terracards is for you. Happy farming, my friends.
