A new open-world horror experience is on its way, and it looks like everything we want from a spine tingling survival shooter.
Interest in horror may come and go, but there’s always room for a creepy adventure, especially when it combines the likes of Fallout with The Last of Us.
A broken, desolate world reminiscent of the Wasteland is where we find ourselves in No More Light.

No More Light has given us the heebie jeebies
An alien invasion has left mankind on the brink of collapse, with you left to try and fight your way through this new existence you now call life.
It’s all very dramatic, just like any sci-fi horror game should be.

This isn’t just a shooter experience, though; No More Light has a “deep narrative-driven campaign”.
As explained via its Steam page, the game “challenges you to make life-or-death decisions as you uncover the mystery behind the invasion and fight to save what remains of the human race”.
Consequently, you’ll sometimes have to “form uneasy alliances with fellow survivors and enigmatic beings who may not be entirely trustworthy” – how fun!
At the time of writing this, there’s no launch date listed.

Disappointing though that may be to those of you who want to fight back against the alien horde, the “coming soon to early access” has us hopeful that an announcement will be made in the near future.
Humanity might not come back from this devastation.
We can only hope that you, the brave individuals who dare to play this open-world horror, can save us.
Assuming there’s much of humanity still left to save after the what's happened...
