Starfield fans are hoping Bethesda will let them buy and customise their own apartments, believing it must be a feature in the game
Bethesda has more than likely struck gold with Starfield, especially if it lives up to all the hype it's received so far. Several promises have been made, such as an enormous galaxy to explore, which was recently mapped out in its entirety, smooth and stable performance with fewer bugs than ever before, and more freedom than any RPG has dreamed of.

Despite only 10% of the galaxy’s planets sustaining life, the friendly (or not so friendly) faces you’ll find on your intergalactic adventure will likely be bunkered down in several towns and cities. We got a good look at one of them during last month’s Starfield Showcase, New Atlantis, which seems to be an integral location to the game’s story.

Of course, there will be other locations to visit, likely connected to the game’s several factions, and possibly some settlements in need of help too, which might dredge up bad memories for Fallout 4 fans…
Safe to say the majority of fans can’t wait to explore the various civilisations featured on Starfield’s planets, many of which are hoping for an option to settle down with their own apartments. Reddit user Ok_Communication676 is one of those individuals, who recently started a thread pleading: “please let me have apartments” alongside screenshots of the various skyscrapers featured in he gameplay trailer
Other fans were in agreement, believing it would only make sense for Bethesda to include apartments as home options given how often we’ll be visiting the main story planets.
“not sure why it wouldn't. Every BGS game has player housing in the cities.”

“I really hope so too. I plan to grab the dream home trait but it will be nice to have a place to stay and stash items when I have business in each city. I guess we will see when early access starts, unless it's confirmed before hand.”
“Feels like it's pretty much confirmed now. I mean we already know we can own a home.”
It seems like players will have a lot of possibilities when it comes to having a roof over their heads. Apartments, houses, your ship and buildable bases all seem like they’ll be viable options when it comes to storing your gear or relaxing after a long day of exploring.
Starfield launches on the 6th September, exclusively for Xbox Series X/S and PC.
