Red Dead Redemption 2 players have noticed a cool detail regarding a face carved into one of the cliffs.
If you’ve never seen it before, you can find a cliff in Ambarino that has a mysterious face carved into the side of it.
Mafia: The Old Country was announced at Gamescom the other night! Check out the trailer below
Why Rockstar Games put this in the game, and who the face is supposed to resemble is a mystery, making it yet another cool open-world detail you can stumble across during your Red Dead Redemption 2 playthrough.

But wait, there’s more.
Someone on Reddit shared a picture of the face in the cliffs, saying after 700 hours of in-game activity this was the first time they’d ever stumbled across it, never knowing it existed before then.
The top commenter for this post then said “If you come back way later, you'll find it broken and falling apart.”
Why is it broken? Again who knows, but it’s still an awesome detail and one I’m sure many players might have missed.

Turns out you can also find the corpse of the man who sculpted the beautiful work of art, as well as a note that hints at the face being his wife, who left him for another man.
Whether he sculpted the face out of passion and later returned to destroy it in a fit of rage is another mystery, so feel free to draw your own conclusions.
If you hadn’t seen this before and were wondering how you missed it, as well as other cool in-game secrets, follow this commenter’s advice: “Just avoid the regular roads on map. Go anywhere randomly in random directions, you'll keep finding such structures and places.”
Red Dead Redemption 2 is quite possibly the ultimate open-world adventure game, as it still feels like it’s hiding secrets years after launch.
