PlayStation Plus subscribers highly-recommend this story-driven action game, and we do as well.
PlayStation’s subscription service PlayStation Plus includes some absolute bangers in its library, some of which only joined the offering this month, though many pail in comparison to one of the most-underrated superhero games in recent years, Guardians Of The Galaxy.
Take a look at Guardians Of The Galaxy below.
Let’s be honest, when you think about superhero games you can play right now you’ll more than likely think Marvel’s Spider-Man, and its sequel which recently got a huge quality of life upgrade.

You might also think of the Batman: Arkham games, but one that probably won’t come to you straight away is the Guardians Of The Galaxy game.
This is a third-person narrative-driven adventure that unfortunately didn’t get the attention it deserved, largely due to Square Enix’s previous game, Marvel’s Avengers.
Fans on Reddit have been encouraging people to give it a go though, in a post by Optimal_Blueberry8 asking for recommendations on good story games.
One user said “Guardians Of The Galaxy is good,” and was supported by other players, one of which called it, “Highly underrated but thoroughly enjoyable.”

Another user added that while the gameplay left a lot to be desired, “the story and dialogue are too good,” and it’s "packed with great moments”.
Then another player agreed, saying, “The story, dialogue, and even the voice acting were very good. The gameplay just failed to get me fully engaged.”
It’s severely underrated, and while it’s nowhere near masterpiece-level like the Marvel’s Spider-Man games, there’s still plenty to enjoy from the gameplay and story.
Guardians Of The Galaxy is available on PlayStation platforms via PlayStation Plus, and it’s also playable on Xbox Series X/S, PC and Nintendo Switch via cloud-streaming.
