One of the next games to land on PlayStation Plus is getting some serious hype from folks online, with some even calling it an early contender for 2025’s Game of the Year.
Blue Prince is an upcoming “atmospheric architectural adventure” (oh, blueprints, how am I only just figuring that out?) from first-time developers Dogubomb, that made waves online last year when a demo for the game dropped on Steam.
Over on the r/CozyGames subreddit, users shared their feelings on the demo ahead of Blue Prince landing on consoles.

“Ok, so I ended up getting completely and totally sucked into the Blue Prince demo! It's a puzzle adventure with roguelite deckbuilding elements and it's gripped me like The Room first gripped me,” commented user ninasafiri.
Lost Records: Bloom & Rage recently joined the extra tier as a day one release.
“I was glued into my seat for all four in-game days of the demo!!!”

“I just finished the demo!” replied user alicia-jo, “I loved the game and haven’t played a [video game] like it.”
It’s even received a lot of hype from the gaming media too, such as PC Gamer’s Christopher Livingston who labelled it his Game of the Year in 2024, based on the demo alone.
“I'm still calling it my GOTY, honestly, because it's the best game I've played this year,” stated Livingston, “And even though I got to the 'end' of Blue Prince, I'm still far from finished.”
No exact release date for Blue Prince yet, but the developers have stated that it’s set to drop sometime in “spring 2025” - so basically at any point in the next couple of months.
