PlayStation Plus offers three tiers: essential, extra, and premium.
While the premium tier may boast the heftiest price tag, subscribers benefit from some nice perks.
They can enjoy cloud streaming, access to free trials of the latest releases, and then there’s the premium tier game catalogue - packed with nostalgic favourites from yesteryear.

That’s not to say that the premium tier is a perfect offering. Its catalogue isn’t as bountifully stocked as its extra tier counterpart.
That could soon be about to change though as it looks as if Sony is set to increase its emulated PlayStation Plus offerings.
Sifu landed on the essential tier this month. Take a look at the game in action below.
PlayStation has been working with Implicit Conversions for quite some time.

As previously pointed out by Reddit user Sascha2022, this is the company responsible for bringing many PS1 and PSP classics to PlayStation Plus premium.
Over on the company’s website, they also mention working on bringing PS2 games to the PS4 and PS5, leading many to assume that the subscription service’s PS2 line-up will soon be expanding.
Additionally, Implicit Conversions mention working with Rockstar, Konami and Cyan Games alongside Sony.
This could be on unrelated projects but naturally, people are wondering whether this means some beloved classics are on the way to PlayStation Plus from those aforementioned studios.

“God please just give me The Warriors and Manhunt back on the PlayStation Store,” wrote No_Ad_4013. I should add that you can play The Warriors but it does feature some pretty intense graphical issues.
“Silent Hill 1, Origins, Shattered Memories & Bloody Roar 1 & 2 for Konami. [...] As for Rockstar, I'd personally love the Midnight Club games,” added FallenNightwing66.
Red Dead Revolver and Bully were also mentioned.
It just so happens that we’ll be getting a PlayStation Plus update later today.

In a few hours, Sony will announce this month’s extra and premium tier line-up, so we should see a dozen or so games join the service.
It’s unlikely we’ll see any of the aforementioned games land on the service just yet, but hopefully we’ll be satisfied with what’s announced nonetheless.
