PlayStation Plus seems to have something for everyone. With a library featuring hundreds of games, there’s bound to be something new to fall in love with.
Cyberpunk 2077 fans need to look no further, as Cloudpunk, currently part of PlayStation Plus, is the perfect game for when you’ve finished your adventure in Night City. While Cloudpunk is less action-packed, it has a deep and rich narrative entwined within a world of neon, futurism, and modified humans.
Cyberpunk adventures abound with Cloudpunk, perfect after a visit to Night City
The city of Nivalis is every bit as good as Night City. Seen from the window of your delivery vehicle (which flies, by the way) the city is bursting with detail; from NPCs going about their business, to intricate designs in the futuristic architecture, the world feels properly lived in. At first glance, it’s hard to tell that Cloudpunk is built from voxel graphics. The usually simple style here features layers upon layers of details which allows it to not only look good but to provide a constantly gorgeous view.

Of course, we’re not here for the view. A brilliant story is unravelling at the centre of this place and you’re at the heart of it, delivering packages and talking to NPCs who slowly build out the bigger picture. By travelling across this metropolis you will begin to find clues to the story along with lots of little secrets which further flesh out a mysterious night on the job. Essentially you will “unravel mysteries in a world of corporate conspiracy, hackers, and rogue AI through the eyes of Rania.”
Most of your playtime is spent in your vehicle, but there are moments to get out and stretch your legs, perhaps do a little sightseeing, all the time surrounded by a brilliantly diverse cast of characters, many of whom will stay with you after the credits roll.
