PlayStation Plus subscribers have a huge choice of games to play and many of them are great. If you're a fan of platformers a few will stand out but none more than Rayman Legends.
Rayman, once the unofficial mascot of PlayStation, first appeared back on the original PlayStation in 1995. The first game was your standard platformer, but as time passed by Rayman fell to the wayside returning in the last decade with one of the best platformers in recent years.
As a collective, we owe the rabbids to Rayman and his legacy
Rayman Legends is a very fluid platformer, there are so many cool tricks that make Rayman move smoothly. He has several abilities that make him rival Mario, including wall jumps, high jumps, and gliding. Ubisoft managed to nail the feel of a great platformer, where each level makes you feel like a superstar player.

"Rayman, Globox, and the Teensies are off wandering through an enchanted forest when they discover a mysterious tent filled with a series of captivating paintings. As they look more closely, they notice each painting seems to tell the story of a mythical world."
This story managed to deliver a bunch of worlds inspired by fairy tales or certain medieval themes using bright and colourful graphics that pop, but perhaps one of the best things about the game is the music and sound. The soundtrack is bouncy and fun, and in certain levels of the game the music and platforming are in sync, just like a rhythm game; jumping and punching on the beat.
Both critics and players alike hold this game in very high regard. Rayman Legends is an almost perfect game garnering high scores when the game first released. It's yours to play for free if you have an active PlayStation Plus subscription.
