PlayStation Plus users may moan from time to time – or should we say often – but they’ve just scored a massive free game due to launch later in the year.
It feels like it’s almost a given now that whenever PlayStation Plus “gets good”, it’ll soon disappoint its subscribers in equal measure.
This recently happened when a portion of users received a replacement free game, one which was quickly slammed for being a “joke”. Oh, that’s awkward.

Will you join the team in Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions?
Even though not everyone was affected by this faux pas by Sony, subscribers are in need of a pick-me-up.
Luckily, that salve the PS Plus community so desperately needs has arrived in the form of Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions.

Personally, I can’t think of anything worse than trying to master the fictional sport – Madam Hooch’s “Concentrate, Potter, and try again” still haunts me. Yet, for many Harry Potter fans, the idea of playing Quidditch fascinates.
Aiming to build on the foundations Hogwarts Legacy built, PlayStation Plus users will have access to the new upcoming game on day one of launch. That’s a huge win for both Sony and its subscribers.
PlayStation gamers were blessed compared to the rest of the Hogwarts Legacy fandom, thanks to them gaining access to the ‘Haunted Hogsmeade’ DLC from the start. And it seems PlayStation players are to be rewarded again.
Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions will be available on all consoles. However, those not subscribed to PS Plus will be paying full price, which is certainly less appealing than getting it for free.

The reception to the game is mixed at present. Still, for all the underwhelmed fans, there are ones eager to hop on their brooms and take to the skies in the name of sport!
“Really enjoyed the early access for this game, can't wait for full release,” said @zevtillian4120 on YouTube.
