PlayStation Plus extra and premium tier subscribers were treated to the addition of 15 games this month.
In case you missed it, highlights of the latest PlayStation Plus extra and premium tier offerings include Gotham Knights, Disco Elysium: The Final Cut, Alien Isolation, and Dead Island: Definitive Edition. All in all, I’d call it a positive month - especially compared to some of the lacklustre line-ups we’ve seen since Sony announced the PS Plus price rise. Add in the newly announced premium tier cloud streaming and the addition of the Sony Pictures Core catalogue, and the price rise outrage is very slowly subduing. Now that players have spent some time sampling this month’s games, one subscriber wants to know whether Disco Elysium is “boring” or if they’re “uncultured trash”.
Take a look at Gotham Knights in action below.
While I wouldn’t go as far as calling someone “uncultured trash”, I would say that Disco Elysium is easily one of the greatest games of all-time. That doesn’t mean it’s for everyone though. Reddit user Prestigious_Event221 said, “I played the game for around two or three hours and I immediately deleted it. I was intrigued by reviews and comments made by people on the internet, but HOLY F**K was I let down! I literally shouted at my TV ‘WHO CARES?’ while the game was ranting about a statue. Should I have given it more time, or is this just not the game for me?”

Many echoed my own sentiment. “It's not a game for you. Disco is an amazing game, but it's definitely not for everybody,” wrote JamaicaCZ, while keldpxowjwsn added, “It's a heavily story-narrative-dialogue driven game. The writing is stellar and some of the best in the entire medium but if that's not your cup of tea it's not going to be the game for you.”
Developed by ZA/UM, Disco Elysium: The Final Cut is an RPG in which you must solve a murder mystery. It’s definitely worth giving a go. You can always decide for yourself whether it’s your kind of game or not - and if it’s the former, you’re in for an incredible ride.
