Being a PlayStation Plus subscriber is a rollercoaster of a journey. One month you might find yourself celebrating the best line-up in years, before you’re condemning a lacklustre offering the next.
At the end of the day though, PlayStation Plus is a great platform to sample games you might never have discovered otherwise, or simply play titles you’re yet to get around to. The latter is an experience I had last year with Ghost of Tsushima. I’m so very glad I finally played the game, and the excellent Iki Island DLC, as it’s easily become one of my all-time favourites. Yes, I now join fellow fans in desperately awaiting a sequel announcement from Sucker Punch. Enough of that though, as it’s actually Inscryption that I want to draw your attention to today though. This roguelike deck-builder has been described as a “must play” by PlayStation Plus users.
Take a look at Inscryption in action below.
It was Reddit user rnd765 who shared their discovery of the game, writing, “This game was an unexpected surprise. I stumbled upon it while browsing the PlayStation Plus game catalogue. Never heard of it before but decided to give it a try. Chef’s kiss. If you enjoyed Slay The Spire, this will be right up your alley! It’s a must play in that case.” It’s both an excellent game, and a stellar recommendation.

DG83GamingEnthusiast added, “This is why I really enjoy the catalogue (price hikes and sales not offered aside, which definitely left me sour). This is a game I would not have bought in a million years, or honestly ever heard of, but I absolutely loved it,” while SnowArcaten commented, “My game of the year 2021. Played through it again on PS5 and got the plat.”
Inscryption is available on PlayStation Plus’ extra tier. It’s not just popular with players, as it garnered critical acclaim upon release, boasting a very respectable score of 87 on Metacritic. Over on Steam, it has an almost perfect score of 96%. It’s a title that’s loved by several members of the GAMINGbible team so it’s nice to see it reach new players via PlayStation Plus.
