PlayStation Plus subscribers are warned to play a stunning, short indie game before it leaves the service next month.
Despite PlayStation’s subscription service packing some absolute bangers into its line-up, it’s an unfortunate truth that there’s sometimes just too much to play, with many games falling through the cracks without being played once.

Fortunately PlayStation Plus subscribers are always around with their personal recommendations for what games must be played before they leave the service the following month.

This month is no exception, as on a Reddit post asking which games are worth a go before they depart next month, a few pointed out a charming little indie game called The Artful Escape.
“The Artful Escape is a short indie game. Easy to play. Very nice mix of colours and music.”
“The Messenger is a MASTERPIECE, I also recommend you: Abzu and The Artful Escape."
For those who haven’t played, or even heard, of The Artful Escape, it’s a relatively short platform game where players control a guitarist called Francis as he moves through a world of music and melodies.

Aside from just taking in the sights you’ll also do battle with bosses, as you try to escape the world Francis is stuck in.
It’s pretty short, with HowLongToBeat saying the game clocks in at just over four hours for a single playthrough, and it’s also a good source of PlayStation trophies.
PlayStation Plus subscribers don’t have long left to try the game for themselves though, as it’ll be leaving the service next month along with a handful of other titles.
Please check it out before it goes though, it’s a delightful game and with that short of a playtime there’s no harm to trying it for an hour and seeing what you think.
