PlayStation Plus announces 13 free games you can download and play for September

New free games, get your new free games!

It's that time again; PlayStation is back with more free games to delight PlayStation Plus subscribers.

At the end of August, we got out first official look at the latest games joining the service in September.

August had already been a banger of a month, with the additional PS Plus titles only serving to continue that stellar lineup.

For many gamers, Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions was the biggest boon for subscribers as it allowed them to soar through the skies of the newly launched wizarding experience.

Have you checked out Astro Bot yet?

But there was also the addition of Little Nightmares II and MLB The Show 24 as well.

Since they became available - and still are, we might add - PS Plus members have been curious about the next batch of free games coming there way.

Finally, we no longer have to speculate as those new adventures have finally arrived!

PlayStation has dropped a whopping 13 new free games this month.

There are both contemporary and classic adventures up for grabs, including indie darlings like Night in the Woods, a coming of age story that has plenty of twists and turns before its conclusion.

Arguably though, Plucky Squire is the the newest addition everyone is talking about, soon to launch on 17 September. When GAMINGbible previewed this experience, our very own Ewan Moore described it as a "gleefully inventive game".

Joining the two aforementioned titles are the following:

  • Under the Waves
  • Chernobylite
  • Wild Card Football
  • Space Engineers
  • Road 96
  • Ben 10
  • Far Cry 5
  • Pistol Whip
  • Secret Agent Clank
  • Sky Gunner
  • Mister Mosquito

For the gamers wanting to play Pistol Whip onwards, these titles are for PlayStation Premium members only.

Still, even without those games, September's offering is shaping up to be one of the best months for the service.
