
If you’ve ever dreamt about getting your hands on the PlayStation VR2 but found yourself put off by the hardware’s steep price tag, you’re going to like what I’m about to say next.
PlayStation has taken to social media to announce that the PlayStation 5 accessory has received a major permanent price cut.
You see, it wasn’t simply that the PlayStation VR2 previously cost a pretty penny.

It’s that coupled with the fact that you can only use it if you also have a PlayStation 5 console, as the PlayStation VR2 doesn’t function as a standalone product.
The collective cost likely put many off which is perhaps why the PlayStation VR2 hasn’t sold exceptionally well.
Its fortune could now change though, as it’s been confirmed on the PlayStation blog that the PlayStation VR2 is being reduced to $399.99 / €449.99 / £399.99.
For comparison, it launched at $549.99 / €599.99 / £529.99, so we’re talking a hefty discount here.

That’s an incredible deal.
Call of the Mountain is far from being the only great game available on the PS VR2.
