Sony is no stranger to offering its PlayStation fanbase the chance to regularly earn points which can be exchanged for free store credit.

As well as the PlayStation Plus service offering a collection of brand-new games each month at no extra cost, there is also the PlayStation Stars loyalty scheme.

If you didn’t already know, PlayStation Stars is a free-to-join service that allows members to earn points by purchasing titles in the PS store, taking part in listed challenges or even just booting up a particular game.

It is the latter option that is the source of free store credit this time around.

To earn 50 free points, Stars members need simply boot up Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas before 31 August to be eligible.

“PS Plus Extra and Premium subscribers can gain access to this campaign,” the official instructions read.

To solve, all you need to do is boot up Grand Theft Auto San Andreas The Definitive Edition on your PS5 or PS4; it's currently available in the PS Plus Extra Game Catalog.”

Released in 2021, the Grand Theft Auto San Andreas The Definitive Edition is a compilation of three titles in the GTA series.

This includes Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.

For PlayStation Plus members, there is one exciting fantasy title up for grabs which combines the best of The Witcher and Legacy of Kain.

Additionally, September is set to be an exciting month for subscribers as two of its upcoming titles have already been announced. Better yet, it includes two brand-new releases.
