Don't miss out on this cool freebie

PlayStation has dropped a free digital reward to celebrate its ongoing Days Of Play celebrations.

Days Of Play is an event that takes place every year for PlayStation users, and is prime time for various discounts, deals and freebies for all things Sony-related, digital and physical.

To mark the occasion, PlayStation is giving away another digital collectable to add to your virtual shelves, and the best part is you don’t even need PlayStation Plus to claim it.

The collectible is a little model that says “Days Of Play” with a variety of PlayStation symbols swirling around it.

As usual, it doesn’t actually do anything, it’s just a digital memento to claim and hang on to if you’re into that sort of thing.

It’s available to claim now from the PlayStation Stars app, and as mentioned earlier you don't need any additional subscriptions, you can grab it whenever.

Of course that’s not the main attraction of Days Of Play, the deals and freebies are, and there’s plenty to be excited about.

June’s batch of PlayStation Plus games was announced, along with the exciting addition of PlayStation 2 games coming to the service, only for those with access to the Premium tier membership.

There are also exclusive discounts on hardware, including PS5 consoles, the PSVR2, and accessories to go with them, like the colourful shells you can affix to your console.

A variety of PlayStation games have also been heavily discounted, like The Last Of Us Part II: Remastered, as well as Rise Of The Ronin and Marvel's Spider-Man 2 to name a few.

So if you’re on PlayStation don’t miss out on the above deals and freebies, as Days Of Play only rolls around once a year.
